Intermediate Handgun Skills, Intro to Defensive Shooting (Handgun 103) Duration 1 Day Step 3 of our foundational handgun series. This intensive one-day class bridges the gap between entry level foundational handgun skills and the world of defensive shooting. By introducing tactical communication steps, situational awareness methods, mindset, and threat identification, combined with realistic common sense based shooting drills, this course will introduce shooters to the art of defensive handgun shooting.
Prerequisite This course is Step 3 of 3 in our foundational handgun series. We strongly recommend Basic Practical Handgun Skills (Handgun 102) or equivalent before you attend Handgun 103. The student MUST know and be able to demonstrate how to safely load, fire, and unload a handgun as well as have demonstrated competence in working from a holster and performing reloads.
